Ultrasound

ultrasound

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce subtle vibrations in the soft tissues, creating a deep heat response. These vibrations and heat help break down and disperse excess calcium deposits, scar tissue, and other hard tissue accumulations. The deep heating effect also increases circulation, relaxes muscle spasms, and speeds the healing process. Ultrasound can often help with a variety of joint and soft-tissue problems such as shoulder and elbow tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee sprains, back spasms and sports-related injuries.
